8IP Asia Pacific Equity Fund is authorised by the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority as an undertaking for collective investment in transferable securities pursuant to the European Communities (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) Regulations. The fund was launched on 19 August 2010.

The investment objective of the fund is to provide long-term capital growth. The fund will invest primarily in transferable securities of companies listed or traded on a regulated stock exchange or market in the Asia Pacific region, including Japan, or in companies or their subsidiaries which have their principal business activities in the Asia Pacific region, including Japan.

8IP Asia Equity Opportunities Fund is authorised by the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority as an undertaking for collective investment in transferable securities pursuant to the European Communities (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) Regulations. The fund was launched on 5 October 2010.

The investment objective of the fund is to provide long-term capital growth. The fund will invest primarily in transferable securities of companies listed or traded on a regulated stock exchange or market in the Asia Pacific region, excluding Japan, or in companies or their subsidiaries which have their principal business activities in the Asia Pacific region, excluding Japan.

8IP manages an Asia Pacific equity mandate for Sanlam Asset Management (Ireland) Limited (“SAMI”). SAMI is part of Sanlam and when established in June 1997 was the first UCITS III (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) approved management company in Ireland. SAMI currently manages in excess of US$4billion for clients world-wide.
