Allan Moss AO
Currently Principal of Allan Moss Investments, a private investment company, Allan retired from the role of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Macquarie Group in May 2008. He was with Macquarie Group for 31 years and served as CEO, from 1993 to his retirement in 2008. He was also a non- executive director of CSR Ltd from 1996 to 2001.
Allan graduated from Sydney University in Arts with a major in Economics and in Laws with Honours. He is also a graduate of Harvard University with a Masters Degree in Business Administration with High Distinction.
Allan has received numerous industry awards and recognitions. He was twice named by Barron’s Magazine as one of the 30 most respected CEOs in the world (2006, 2007).
He was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia in 2005.
Simon is a senior partner and the chairman of L.E.K. in Australia, with over 20 years of experience in Australia, Asia and Europe.
Simon leads L.E.K.’s Australian Transport & Infrastructure practice, covering passenger transport (rail, light rail, bus and ferry), freight, roads, ports, aviation & airports. He has a wide variety of experience advising governments and private operators in many different aspects of transport including policy development, commercial strategy and operations. This includes long term planning, benchmarking, contracting/franchising, major project support, M&A, organisational design and operational performance improvement. He has been deeply involved in significant transport reforms at a national and state level over the last 15 years. Simon has also advised companies across a wide variety of other industry sectors such as energy, agriculture, financial services, industrials and business services.
Simon is an Advisory Board member of the Transport and Tourism Forum (TTF), and Chairman of TTF’s Passenger Transport Panel.
He has a BSc from Melbourne University, and a PhD from Cambridge where he was a Cambridge Australia Trust scholar.
